Italian Meatballs

These meatballs are super tasty, so easy to prepare and you can make a big batch and freeze in portions to make easy meals later! This mix also make fantastic burgers!


400 grams of beef mince ( I use and prefer 3 star but you could use lean)

1 red onion finely diced

2 cloves of garlic crushed

1 free range egg

1 – 2 tablespoons of Russian for dinner Spice Blend    (Blend of Paprika, onion, garlic, mushrooms, red bell pepper, black pepper, oregano and mustard)

What to do:

Mix all ingredients together and roll in to balls. Heat a non stick frypan (I use a cast iron frypan) No need to add any oil as the meat has enough fat already. Brown on all sides and cook for a further few minutes until cooked through. The time will depend on the size of your meatballs.

You could make a nice passata sauce to serve. I’ve chosen steamed veggies that I sprinkle with some Field Mushroom Salt so that I can stick the Gut Health & Wellness Program I am doing at the moment.
