In need of some chicken stock?? There is nothing like home made and it’s so easy to make!
Add to a large pot a chicken cage (I have found that using a left over roast chicken gives a richer flavour!)
fresh garlic cloves, carrot, onion, fresh parsley and thyme, a few bay leaves, peppercorns and sea salt.
Cover with Bring to the boil and simmer for approx 3 – 4 hours.
Let it cool and then strain through a fine sieve.
It will last in the fridge for 4-5 days and is great to freeze in portions for later!
Use in Soups and gravies or any recipes that call for Chicken Stock
