I have recently fallen in love with Granola but never made it at home…. I can’t believe I have never eaten it before.. Here is my healthy version. You can add Orange Zest or Dried fruits if you like that kind of thing… personally I am not a fan of store bought dried fruit. (Must get that dehydrator this year)
2 Teas of YIAH Country Baked Apple Pie Baking Spice
2 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup (you can use Raw Honey)
100 grams of Rolled Oats
50 grams of Pepita’s
50 grams Raw Almonds
50 grams of Sunflower Seeds
Preheat your oven to 120 C. Mix everything together in a bowl until well combined and everything is coated. Spread out thinly on an oven tray lined with baking paper. Bake for approx an hour or until it is dry and crunchy. Store in an airtight container. Fabulous mixed into some homemade low fat Vanilla Yoghurt I made yesterday.
