Homemade Spicy Hummus

Feeling like a healthy snack and decided to do a little experimenting! Absolutely love Hummus and this little experiment turned out a treat! Grab the Crackers and carrot sticks and dig in!

Ingredients:

400 gram tin of Chickpeas drained

2 Teaspoons of Tahini

1 Clove of fresh Garlic

4 Tablespoons of fresh Lemon Juice

4 Tablespoons of Picante Mexican Olive Oil

1 Tablespoon of Casablanca Dip Mix

What to do:

Quite simply add everything to a food processor besides the Olive Oil and blend until smooth. Add the Olive Oil a little in at a time. That’s pretty much it! Poor a little more of the Olive Oil on top after putting the Hummus into a sterilsed jar and pop into the fridge. The longer you leave it the lovelier it will be! once that jar pops open I doubt there will be too many left overs!

Picante Mexican is an Australian Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Chilli, Lime, Basil, Pepper and Thyme and the Casablanca Dip Mix is  a blend of exotic North African and Middle Eastern spices.
