Baked Italian Pork Tenderloin

 

I decided to do a little experimenting tonight… I have never ever baked a tenderloin! I usually slice, marinate and make stiryfry… I am really amazed at how this turned out… moist, tender and melt in the mouth DELICIOUS!

Baked Italian Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients:

350 Grams of  Pork Tenderloin
5 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tsp  Minced Fresh Garlic
1 Teas of dried Italian Herbs
1 Teas of Raw Honey
½ Teas of Herb Salt
½ Teas of Cracked Black Pepper

Directions:

1. Place pork tenderloin in a dish to marinate. Set aside.

2. Combine vinegar, olive oil, garlic, Italian herbs, honey, salt and pepper. Whisk until blended.

3. Pour mixture over pork tenderloin. Cover with aluminum foil and place in refrigerator to  marinate for a while. Allow to marinate for a minimum of 3 hours up to overnight.image

4. When ready to cook, preheat oven to 180 degrees C.

5. Heat a large skillet over high heat. Place tenderloin in pan, searing each side for 2 – 4 minutes each. Set the baking dish aside with the left-over marinade.

6. Place tenderloin back in baking dish with marinade and cook uncovered for 30-35 minutes, or until done.

35 Minutes and let this baby rest for 5 – 10 minutes. Slice and serve!
