The result of a fridge raid last night!
2 cups of cooked Chicken diced
2 rashers of Bacon diced
1 Onion diced
2 cups of Skim Milk
1 tbs of Cornflour
1 teas of Chicken Stock Powder
1 tbs #Yiah Country Onion & Chives Dip Mix
1 teas #Yiah Porcini Specialty Salt
8 Cherry Boccincini
Cooked fettuccine for 4
Boil some water and cook your fettuccine. (Enough for 4 serves) Heat a non stick pan and fry the onion and bacon. Add the dip mix and stir to combine. Dissolve the cornflour and chicken stock in the milk and pour into the pan. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens and add the Chicken and boccincini. The boccincini will melt and make a delicious creamy sauce! Season with the Porcini Salt. Add cooked Fettucine and toss to combine. And there you have it, a really simple and easy pasta dish using up whatever I had in the fridge. Mushrooms are great in this recipe too.. Is just run out!
