Want to whip up a pasta sauce in a hurry??
My daughter requested Ravioli last night. I have often made my own on many occasions over the years and although fresh is best when it comes to pasta making it is a time consuming process I simply don’t always have time for. The sauce however is very simple!
Ingredients:
1 tin of diced Tomatoes
1 Clove of fresh garlic crushed
Splash of EVOO.. I use Yiah Intense Garlic
1 Tablespoon of Yiah Tomato & Herb Dip Mix
2 Teaspoons of Yiah Country Onion & Chives Dip Mix
Splash of Yiah Caramelised Balsamic
1/2 Teaspoon of Yiah Porcini Salt
1/4 Cup of Water
1 Tablespoon of Tomato Paste
What to do:
Heat a non stick saucepan and add the EVOO and the garlic.
Cook for a few minutes and then add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a simmer.
Turn down the heat to low and let the flavours infuse for approx 20 minutes.
It is that simple and easy and the flavours are amazing. If you like a little heat in your
sauce use our Salsa Dip Mix in place of the Country Onion & Chives
