Vintage Banana Cake…

This old school Banana Cake is delicious and cheap to make! I skipped the Walnuts as I had run out and added an extra Banana. I have converted the recipe for you below in brackets… I have no idea about the small and large cup sizes?? Does anyone else know?? I used standard measurements.

1/4lb. Butter (approx 115 grams)

2 Free Range Eggs

1 Small Cup of Sugar

2 Bananas (well mashed)

1/2 teas of baking soda dissolved in 1 teas of milk

1 Large cup of SR Flour

Pinch of salt

2 Ozs. Walnuts (approx 60 grams)

vanilla (1 teas)

Cream the butter and sugar, add eggs. Whip well. Add well mashed Bananas, soda and milk, flour, flavouring and nuts. Bake in a moderate oven.

I baked this cake in a loaf tin at 180 for 35 minutes.
