Melt in the mouth has a whole new meaning! These Lamb Shanks were AMAZING! Brown the shanks in a fry pan with a sliced onion and some Intense Garlic EVOO.
Pop into an oven proof dish that has a lid, I love this Pottery dish for slow cooking in the oven. Sprinkle both sides of the lamb with Stroganoff Spice Blend and Tomato and Herb Dip Mix. I’ve used approx a tablespoon of each. Add 1 cup of beef stock and pop on the lid. Into a preheated oven at 150C for 2 1/2 – 3 hours. Dissolve 2 teas of Cornflour in 1/4 cup of water and mix into the liquid. Put it back into the oven for 15 mins – 30 mins to allow the sauce to thicken. Serve with Mash & Veggies.
